I love Twitter because it’s about sharing: whether that’s information, thoughts, feelings or experiences. I feel connected to people – in particular those I’ve grown relatively close to. Was going to write a blog on similar subject to this because I’m interested to see whether others share my twitter experience or see it differently. Plus I also love that twitter has introduced me to so many new activities: blogging, audioboo-ing, postcrossing and geocaching to name a few! Most important of all, I think that twitter can be the most incredible support network for people, whether it’s writers or others who work from home, people who are housebound or who have long-term illness or just those who are shy or going through difficulties. I’ve met so many wonderful people from such a diverse range of backgrounds that I would otherwise never have come into contact with! Also, I definitely agree that tweet-ups with your followers IRL is enormous fun - See more at: http://amyoscar.com/spiritual-practice/why-do-you-love-twitter/#sthash.De1Zpn82.dpuf
