Describe the relative emphasis to be placed on each (including a tentative percentage allocation of the budget), the specific objectives for each element, and the rationale for the recommended mix. (1500 words)
This is the main part of your assignment. First create an idea and visualize your idea in an advertisement. Also explain what your idea is about (again this is connected to the positioning of Nalu that you have decided on).
Then write down, which forms of communication you will use to achieve your communication objectives. For example, will you use TV advertising? If yes, explain why and also reason, how much of your budget you will assign. Or, will you use billboards, or newspaper ads, or social media, or a web page, or will you give out samples and 7-Eleven. These are just some examples that you can think of. There are many more forms of communication that are available. See next two slides. Overall, it is important that you connect your plan to assignment 1-4. So, it needs to show your positioning and also, you need to show, that the forms of communication are the right forms for your target audiences. Also, will you also think about other stakeholders besides consumers? For example, you can target store owners of convenience stores (look at the definition of IMC and you will see that IMC is about internal and external audiences – so you should really think about your goals and objectives and how you can achieve them with your communication plan.
