Despite the significance of this study, there were noted limitations and several implications for future studies. First, the use self-reported questionnaires for sensitive topics may have created discomfort in participants and may have been a limitation to getting honest responses in the study. To proactively address these potential issues, the researchers employed anonymous study method, added items asked students’ honesty for response, and included the informational letter. One study found that a computer-assisted self-completion interview (CASI) improved internal consistency and a reduction in missed questions about sensitive topics compared to pen-and-paper self-reported measures (Johnson et al., 2001). Thus, findings in of CASI and pen-and paper self-reported measures should be com- pared in a future study.
