An integral part of any yalidation and verification program is documenting what has been carried out. During the validation process it will be important to know what fas been done so that it can me repeated if successful, or altered if unsuccessful. The validation ezercise can also be used to demonstrate due diligence for audit purposes. For on-going verification if will be important to show that cleaning is being carried out to the same standard operating procedure as that used for cleaning during the validation exercise. Results of the validation confirmation should be documented to provide arecord of continued cleaning efficacy.
