He stuffed them in his pockets with a sigh "tell me something I don't know" he whispered "what was that?" I asked. Damian shook his head "listen, let me worry about this okay. It's fine, now let's head back to school before the teachers kill me themselves".
~Timeskip~
I zipped up my suit pulling on my clawed gloves and eye mask. Doing myself a once over in the mirror I nodded before grabbing my guns slotting them into their holsters either side of my hip.
My mother was waiting on the roof as she could change in seconds due to practice. Climbing out the window I ran up the fire escape to meet her. My mother stood on the ledge hands on her hips resting weight on one leg so her hips jutted out to the side.
I jumped on the ledge beside her "ready to mess with Gotham?" she purred, I grinned "I was born ready mama" I replied eagerly. Jumping down the roof I gripped into the water pipe pointing my toes and keeping my body straight I kept my grip tight but somewhat loose on the pole.
Doing a 360 swing on the pole I held my arms out reaching for the next one which was closer to the ground. Repeating this step until I was at the floor I grinned swiping my hands against each other to get rid of dust. All those years of gymnastics came in handy.
My mother nodded approvingly, before running off, me in tow. She took a sharp turn down a somewhat sinister looking alley. I took a deep breath, following her. Ignoring the eyes peeking out of the darkness I kept my eyes trained on where I was going.
There was a wall up ahead, my mother jumped up her hands gripping the top of the wall. Pulling herself up she glanced back at me before jumping off onto the other side. I gripped the top of the wall and used my feet to help myself up.
Jumping off the other side I noticed we were in the richer part of town. Though my mother had pulled of a lot of heists so we were loaded she preferred to live in the poorer side of town, it provided good cover.
Though it was hard to explain to the other students, or even the people who lived around us how I got into the most expensive school in Gotham and we live in such a horrible place.
I could faintly see my mother's figure run around the corner, I followed. When I saw my mother turn into the road I sprinted faster. "Freeze!" someone yelled, a bright light was shone onto me. The cops. A lot of them.
I held up my hands glancing over at the houses which were much darker compared to the bright lights the cops were shining at me. I could see the bright glint of her smirk.
'Curse you mother'.
