This news item just came up on my email queue. As you can imagine, this is not good news from the viewpoint of the AFL-CIO petition filed about Thailand's continuing GSP eligibility.
To me, it comes as a surprise. What are your thoughts? Does the JSCCIB's action make Government ratification of the two ILO conventions unlikely? Also, who is on the JSCCIB? Are there any workers - is it a employers/workers/govt committee? Also, do you know what the "Draft Bill on the Facilitations to Be Given to Official Permissions B.E." says?
