Nowadays, social media is another part that creates self esteem issues in many people. Bullying in society is increasing more and more, taking beauty standards based on just the ideals of one group judge other people, compare in society and bullying others just because they didn’t be on beauty standards. Insulting others on the internet just because they express opinions that don't match your own. These problems arise frequently on social media. That is another huge reason that results in insecurity about your own body, thoughts, and opinions. When teens don’t receive the expected or desired feedback and engagement on social media, such as follows, likes, and comments, it can induce feelings of low self-esteem. Teens may also feel pressure to perform or post the “right” kind of content, leading to a preoccupation with external validation and causing stress and anxiety.
