will include photographs, documents, books, and oral histories that document our institution’s growth from a small Normal School to a doctoral university with Tennessee’s largest undergraduate enrollment. The Library’s Special Collections hold many items of interest, including the institutional copies of yearbooks, faculty directories and the student newspaper. However, a larger repository of essential items is at the Albert Gore Research Center, which serves as
a de facto campus archive. An early emphasis was to consult with the Director of the Gore Center to establish a working relationship and procedures for pulling and scanning materials.
