These three Vibrio species are sensitive to the presence of Bacillus species.
The only Vibrio that grew in the presence of Bacillus was V. parahaemolyticus, which showed resistance as there was significant growth near Bacillus culture (Fig. 5). Bacillus is a known antibiotic producer, which produces antibiotics like bacitracin and polymixin in nature (Batzing, 2002).
