- Introduction
Present shortly caring science theoretic in general and its concepts. It means by applying the concepts of autonomy, integrity and dignity as well as health and suffering.
Present shortly a transcultural perspective and the relevance for this study and answer the question why a cultural perspective/transcultural perspective is inter- esting in this study.
The result from this study will be described from a perspective of caring science and work in the community and be interpreted in a cultural perspective.
The introduction will be finished with a short presentation of this study.
- Background
Widening and deepening the knowledge of the subject for this study. What do you already know about the subject? It means developing the introduction con- necting to the content of this course according to the study guide. If possible, pay attention to the perspective of caring science as well as the transcultural perspec- tive. Prepare the red thread of the study.
- Theoretical frame of reference
Define relevant concepts, introduce a relevant theory and make a theoretical connection to the aim.
- Problem
Problemazing the perspective of caring science and work in the community with pertinence for this study. What is the problem in the meaning of developing more knowledge? What is worth to know and why?
- Aim
The aim will follow in a logical way from the problem. Here are some examples:
(1) Studying the trancultural perspective and the cultural competence.
(2) Studying the importance of the interaction between the staff and the individuals
in promoting patient’s wellbeing in a cultural context.
Each of these aspects will be interpreted or analyzed from a cultural perspective, the fourth perspective.
(3) Study the physical and social environmental or the individual actions connected
to values, attitudes or ideas.

- Method
Present the chosen methodological approach including theory of science. The further parts in the Method are; Data collection, working through and analyzing the data. Introduce the method of case study and the reasons for the choice of case. The meaning and the consequences of the choice of perspectives and also ethical considerations will be mentioned.
- The field study will be carried through
Collecting data by observations and/or interviews/or literature and also notes from diary
- Result
The collected data will be outlined according to the aim.
- Discussion
Principally, reflect upon the result with reference to a transcultural perspective. What is the contribution from this study – more knowledge and or deeper under- standing of Health, Care and Welfare or culture with reference to the field study?
