Introduction Silica (SiO2) is one of the important reinforcing fillers in rub-ber industry. Since the beginning of the 90s of last century, silicawas increasingly used in tires as the rise and development of “greentire”. The application of highly dispersible silica together with somespecial rubbers such as solution polymerized styrene-butadienerubber (SSBR) in tires leads to the best improvement of rolling resis-tance and wet traction without any compromises in tread wear[1]. The silica in green tire was usually used together with somesilane coupling agents such as bis(triethoxysilylpropyl)tetrasulfane(TESPT).
