The objects of this study were to examine the science process skill of young children provided creative art activities by using philosophy of sufficiency economy, and to compare the science process skill of young children between pre and post those activities.
Preschool age cases, 4-5 years old, boys and girls were included as a sample. The sample group was 30 kindergartner enrolled in the first kindergarten in the second semester, academic year 2555, Ubonwitthayakom School under Ubonrachathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The cluster sampling method was applied to the sample group. The instruments used in the study were 1) an evaluation form of the science process skill in young children 2) the behavioral record form and 3) the criterion of quality evaluation, science process skill, and activity plan of creative art activities by using the philosophy of sufficiency economy. This study was an experimental research, 5 days per week, for 40 minutes a day, total time to use in 8 weeks and 40 programs. The percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test were the parameters used for statistical analysis.
The findings indicated that young children provided creative art activities by using the philosophy of sufficiency economy have the science process skill higher than pre providing them was statistically significant at 0.05 levels.
