I design these posters for the Century Schoolbook typeface. I also did some research and found out some information on the typeface. In 1920, another version of Century font was born. It all began when Gin & Company, a textbook publisher, assigned the American Type Founders to create a typeface with the utmost simplicity. Morris Benton analyzed and did studies on a person’s eyesight and legibilty, which led him to design the Century Schoolbook family of fonts. The Century Schoolbook font is still used today in elementary school text and in a variety of children books
