The tea samples were milled to reach homogeneous particle size,
0.1 g of powder was used to prepare an infusion with 10 mL of purified
water at 100 °C twice, at 10 min each. After that the extracts of
the two times were mixed together and transferred into a 25 mL volumetric
flask and filtered through a 0.45 μmmembrane prior to an injection
into the HPLC system. The reference standards of the seven
analytes, i.e. gallic acid, GC, EGC, EC, EGCG, GCG and ECG were
dissolved in water at 34.00 μg/mL, 28.83 μg/mL, 120.0 μg/mL,
40.20 μg/mL, 333.0 μg/mL, 27.00 μg/mL, and 99.8 μg/mL, respectively.
The stock standard solution was stored at 4 °C before analysis.
