1. Introduction
The JISC Pedagogical Vocabularies Project was a short study scoping the potential for identification, development and use of pedagogical vocabularies for the UK post-16 and HE communities. The Project, managed by CETIS , lasted for five months, from August to December 2005. After a period of data gathering and community consultation, a Working Group of experts from various sectors and communities developed two reports that were submitted to JISC along with a set of recommendations in December 2005. Public versions of these reports will be made available on the JISC e-Learning and Pedagogy Outcomes web page . While the recommendations are not publicly available, interested parties may contact the authors of these reports for a summary.
