Yesterday, we got information from Khun Peangchon (Contract Administrator) regarding STIC’s Supply RT Contract, that the New Contract is still in process and may not be issued in time within this year.
Current Contract will expire at the end of this year. It means current Service Request (SR) for RT services both for CTEP and COTL account will become invalid after 31 Dec. 2015 too.
This will certainly affect our services in January 2016, especially RT for shutdown work which must continue from Dec.2015 until next year.
Our concerns are that:
• Starting January 2016, we will have to work for Chevron without valid Contract and Service Request.
• New contract working condition specifies that one RT team includes 1 RT supervisor and 1 RT technician only. So we’ll have to pull off one technician from the current team.
To resolve this problem, Khun Peangchon recommended us to contact FE’s project manager to issue new Service Request for Onshore and Offshore regular services, include shutdown project.
I’m not sure it would be possible due to the expiry date of the governed Contract.
We need some kind of valid Service Order or Request from Chevron so that we can continue our work. So please advise.
