Samples were taken from dairy products (kefir supernatants, sterile
kefir, kefir and milk fermented by LAB starters) throughout incubation
time and M. bovis BCG enumerated. For this purpose, serial dilutions in
sterile saline solution (0.8% w/v) were spread plated on Middlebrook
7H10 agar supplemented with BACTEC PANTA™ PLUS (kefir and
fermented milk) or not (kefir supernatants, sterile kefir).
