Data were analysed by running t-tests to compare means, at a
significance level of p < 0.05. Previously, F-tests were carried out at
a significance level of p < 0.05 to compare standard deviations.
Standardized skewness and standardized kurtosis were used to
assess whether the samples came from normal distributions.
Multiple range tests were applied between chorizo samples stuffed
in the same kind of casing during smoking time in order to determine
which means were significantly different from which others.
