FINDINGS: The study reveals a large rather ill-defined border lobular shape soft tissue mass in flexor/ anterior compartment of right forearm. This lesion has invaginated along fascia of flexor muscles of right forearm, measured about 17.6x4.1x3.4 cm (Length x Width x AP). This lesion has low signal intensity on T1wi and high signal intensity on T2wi. After gadolinium administration, intense enhancement is seen after gadolinium administration.
Extension of this lesion are described as followings Proximal: about 6.9 cm distal from elbow joint line Distal: about wrist joint line Radial: abuts to the flexor digitorum superficialis (FDS) muscles Ulnar: abuts to the flexor digitorum profundus (FDP) muscles and the flexor pollicis longus (FPL) muscles; atrophic changed of FDP and FPL muscles Dorsal: fascial plane of the FDS muscles and radial nerve; intact of subcutaneous tissue and skin Ventral: abuts to the FDP and FPL muscles; no demonstrable of fascial planes The visualized radial, median and ulnar nerves are within normal limit. Short segment of high signal intensity of marrow at ulnar site of proximal olecranon. No definite increase enhancement is seen. No periosteal reaction or fracture is noted. Muscles of posterior compartment of right forearm are intact. IMPRESSION: finding are likely hemangioma at flexor compartment of right forearm
