The story takes place in Capeside,

The story takes place in Capeside, a small village in Massachusetts and in the mountains of Canada when they have a ski- and snowboardingvacation.

There are 4 friends:

Dawson Leery, he is 15 years old. He is a student on Capeside High School. He is always very tough, and always made good jokes, but if he is alone with a girl he never know what to tell and he tells fibs concerning itself.


He had with Joey Potter and Jen Lindley, but they dumped him because of the fibs, but somewhere Dawson loves Joey.

Joey Potter, she is 15 years old. She is a student at Capeside High School too. She had with Dawson but she dumped him because the fibs. She helps her sister in the cafe: The Ice House.

Pacey Witter, he is 16 years old, he is student at Capeside High School too. During the holiday in the mountains he met a girl and he was totally in love.
He thinks of remaining there for always, but she doesn’t found that a good idea.

Jen Lindley, she is 15 years old and is a student too at Capeside High school. She is there just a couple months because she had look after its grandfather in the village, but he died and then found its granny it fine that she remained at her in house.
She had with Dawson to, but dumped him about the fibs. On school everybody loves her, but during the holidays nobody cares about her.

It is a book that concerns the problems of the four friends, and has been intended for people between 13 and the 16 years.

It is winter and is cold and wet in the village. On a day 4 friends in the cafe sit and are thinking about a wintersportholiday because they are Monday free. They lend the car of one of the parents and a cabin from one of the uncle and aunt of one of the 4. Once they have arrived they will unpack firstly everything and agrees with each other the next day they wants to ski and snowboarding. The next day they take lessons, but then Joey met a ski instructor, named Chad, she made a date with him, and the following day she met Jean Pierre, with him she made a date too. After the dates she doesn’t want the boys.
Pacey met a girl named Kyra and he loved her, he was thinking to live their forever with her, but she doesn’t find it a good idea. Dawson was snowboarding but practised not much, but he participated with a game, during the game he fell and broke his arm.
