The concert itself was rather poorly-attended by Sek Loso standards. There was a large crowd in the standing area near the stage, but much of the seating area was nearly empty.
During the concert, Sek ordered security guards to take down the barriers separating the inexpensive seating area at the back and the 5,000-baht seats towards the front, creating more confusion as fans rushed to take advantage. Post Today reports no one was hurt, however. (Latest: Some fans in the expensive seats are now asking for their money back, Post Today reports this morning.)
If Sek was disappointed with the low turnout, he didn’t show it. Yesterday he announced on his Facebook page that he would stage two more Bangkok concerts and ten upcountry to celebrate turning 40 years of age this year. “I feel 14,” he said.
