As we have discussed, I have written the memo for your reference.
There was a patient at Chulalongkorn Hospital, name Mr Thawtawan Supawanich, who was diagnosed with large HCC in left lobe with tumor thrombus in left portal vein and main portal vein.
He underwent the 1st radioembolization via left hepatic artery on Jun 3rd , 2015, and the fully payment for Sirspheres Microspheres has been made for his 1st treatment session.
This patient required the 2nd treatment session and was scheduled for the 2nd radioembolization on July 22nd via right hepatic artery. He was granted a 50% discount from Sirtex and a 50% deposit or 74,900 THB to GMS account was made before placing an order.
He was admitted to hospital with severe abdominal pain before the treatment date. The recent CT scan shows progression of tumor thrombus in right portal vein branches, as well as, increased size of tumors in right lobe and he surely had acute liver decompensation at this moment. Hence, the procedure has to be cancelled as per doctor’s opinion.
Sirtex will bill to GMS in the amount of 5,000 SGD for this patient and will bill to GMS in the amount of 7,500 SGD for the next order.
