Dengue infections are under the genus Flavivirus. These infections contain single stranded RNA and are little in size (50 nm). There are four serotypes which are assigned as DENV-1, DENV-2, DENV-3 and DENV4. These serotypes might be available for use either separately, or more than one can be available for use in any zone in the meantime. Albeit each of the four serotypes are antigenically comparative, they are sufficiently distinctive to evoke cross security just for a couple of months after contamination by any of them. Contamination with any one serotype presents lifetime invulnerability to the infection serotype.
