According to Table 4, the CSV30, CSV40, MV30 and MV40 wines showed higher metal contents than the control wines and for all wine samples aluminium, strontiumand bariumwere the elements with the highest values. The lead, copper, nickel and chromium contents were significantly higher in CSV40 and MV40 wines, a result attributed to the effect of the grape dehydration process(Panceri et al., 2013) and the use of different portions of grapes to produce each wine. In relation to the elements arsenic and lithium, the wines showed no significant differences and are probably originated from oenological clarifiers added during the wine making process.
