Table 4 summarizes the responses to the questionnaire. There was a tendency to different response between males and females. The urine collection procedure was better accepted by the females. The male inmates were more sceptical towards drug testing in general than both females and prison personnel. Very few inmates reported attempts to adulterate a urine sample. In general the breath testing procedure was well accepted and a majority of the inmates and personnel expressed a preference of breath sampling over urine sampling.
