Hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives in Brassica principally include p-coumalic acid, caffeic acid, ferulic acid, hydroxyferulic acid,and sinapic acid, which could be combined with glucose,gentiobiose, quinic acid, malic acid, and malonic acid to form
hydroxycinnamic acid derivatives.19,23,33 The λmax of these derivatives ranged from 230 to 250 nm and from 320 to 330 nm.
