We have been monitoring the performance of Tank 4 Diesel at Shell NUAMEK CO LTD. (BRANCH 4) (10041798) since the ATGs were recalibrated on 15/05. Since this time volume loss has decreased and we are therefore happy to close this investigation.
Please note however that Tank 4 continues to show high volume losses as a high selling tank, as does the Tank 5 Diesel, so if performance looks poor in the future we will have to open investigation right away.
Please see below for a summary of the investigation:
• Investigation was opened and a request for a PLIP A was made on 28/03. Online PLIP A submitted on 30/03 with no reason for losses found.
• Investigation was escalated to PLIP B and PLIP B received on 25/04. Findings reported are that dipstick and ATG are different by up to 500L, ATG is reporting water in the tank when dipstick cannot find any, and T4 and T5 report their sales together by grade so the retailer cannot monitor the tanks separately. ATG is scheduled to be fixed by CBRE (SLA:29/04).
• Meter calibrations dated as 22/04/2016 show meters to be dispensing at 0, 0, +5, +5.
• Analyst escalated investigation to PLIP B testing. Scheduled for 03/05/2016. PLIP B report received on 03/05. Analyst confirmed on 10/05 that testing found No Leak.
• ATG/Tank calibration scheduled for 15/05. Confirmed on 01/06 that CBRE calibrated the ATG on 15/05 and have ordered a new dipstick.
• Tank was placed under Fairbanks Monitoring following the ATG calibrations to look for continued improvement.
• Tank performance is now deemed acceptable and as no leak was found during testing, investigation can be closed.
• Total investigation time = 85 days
We thank you for your co-operation during this investigation.
