MICs ranged from 0.1 to 100 lg in 10lL depending on the metabolites and ginseng pathogens. P. cactorum and R. solani were found to be the pathogens most sensitive to the metabolites (Table 2). The extract of P. terrestris showed the best antimicrobial activity against five pathogens, with growth inhibition ranging from 75.0% to 96.8%. The extract of Ascomycete sp. (unknown 2) also exhibited effective antimicrobial activity against A. panax (83.6%), P. cactorum (86.5%) and R. solani (93.7%).
