In the first pilot study (ten training sessions), we could
observe some hints that children could benefit from our robotic
rehabilitation training. However, presented data for ten training
sessions did not show any significant enhancements in both
driving skills and clinical scores. As a follow-up study, robotic
training with larger training sessions, i.e., 30 sessions for 10–
12 weeks, was undertaken for five children. Each training
session lasted for about 20 min, and the children participated
in this training three times each week.
