IRISH ECONOMY WAS ONE OF THE FASTEST GROWING IN EUROPE LAST YEAR
According to latest data from the Irish Central Statistics Office, the Irish economy was one of the fastest growing in the euro-zone area last year.
Commenting on the latest figures, Davy Stockbrokers said, "With consumer spending expected to accelerate in 2015, growth prospects for the economy remain positive.
European equity markets are continuing to benefit from a combination of lower energy and financing costs and the impact of the declining euro exchange rate.
The Irish equity market will also benefit from these trends, as well as from a resurgent domestic consumer.
In this environment, the outlook for Irish equities, particularly those with high levels of exposure to the Irish economy, remains very positive.
