Additionally, excessive amounts of AA have been shown to decrease feed consumption, which directly influences the supply of AA to the broiler [7]. Researchers have reported that feeding high-density AA diets throughout the life of the broiler optimizes breast meat yield and final broiler BW, whereas decreasing the AA, density causes reduced BW, breast meat yield, feed conversion efficiency, and meat yields [4, 5, 8, 9]. It has been reported that reducing the CP content in broiler diets may reduce the feed cost. However, it is not known whether a reduction in AA density will affect meat quality [10]. Minimal research has been reported on the effects of AA density and CP level on broiler meat quality. Therefore, this research was conducted to evaluate the effects of AA density on broiler meat quality, which was evaluated through color, pH, water-holding capacity, tenderness and sensory acceptability of the breast meat, and fatty acid composition and lipid oxidation of the thigh meat.
