Stem of cassava were cut about 4.0 cm then poked by a round steel rod through the middle to get the pith. For making pith charcoal pith were put into metal after that closing it tightly and cans were placed in the middle of a furnace. Then heated the pith of cassava stems at 300 ºC for 1 hour. And pith bake pith of cassava stem at 100 ºC for 1 hour.
