Dear Khun rung
As just discussed on the phone, I urgently request your recovery plan to catch up on the engineering activities for the Mahachai project and how to manage the remaining work scope. I had requested this planning in our meeting on 17th June already, but have so far not seen your reply myself – you may have sent a draft to Khun Sakchai.
As discussed, we will schedule a meeting to review the situation and detail recovery planning of remaining activities on Tuesday 8th July in the morning in our office. Khun Sakchai will arrange that meeting with you and our team.
In the past, we have seen a lack of management of the activities and lack of quality checks, which led to delays of the engineering deliverables to our client and for our internal purposes for procurement. Mistakes in documents were not discovered in time to prevent several serious cases of mismatching interfaces between civil works and equipment design, resulting in delays of civil and extra costs for us to reimburse our client for required changes. In addition, the delays of many technical specifications for our procurement are causing further project delays in the procurement process, ultimately endangering the total project schedule.
Overall, our client has started to lose trust in DP CleanTech as their qualified partner. All project parties are aware that is the engineering company working for DPCT, so this situation is not only damaging our reputation. This perception needs to be changed in the interest of DPCT by rectifying our past mistakes and catching up on progress with better quality engineering documentation, following a solid planning. As you are aware, the Mahachai project is most important for us to build our market reputation in Thailand, so I urge you to support the recovery of the project with your best qualified team.I count on your full support and am looking forward to receiving your recovery plan already before our meeting on 8th July.
Kind Regards,
Jan Graeff
