Yonex Nanoray 70 DX Racket Review
Finding a badminton racket that fits your style of play can be as difficult as buying a house and almost as time consuming and expensive. So today we will be reviewing the Yonex Nanoray 70DX.
So lets start with the basics, Clears. From the moment that you hold this racket it feels light, weighing between 80 – 85grms, with a light head.
The first overhead clear with the racket is a dream, it handles well and delivers superb contact. This racket is marketed at offensive players but it is so light and responsive it can be used in a defensive role.
From an attacking perspective the racket delivers a decent smash, but without too much weight in the head, it lacks the true cutting edge that other rackets can deliver with head weighted rackets.

Overall this racket offers a balanced approach of play for those who want a racket to suit a defensive and offensive nature. It has a stylish look and feel to it, and with the price tag as low as £70 from most on-line retailers it is value for money. With many of the retailers offering grip and string upgrades.
The Yonex Nanoray 70 DX recieves a 3 out of 5 for its all round performance but lacks the true smashing ability to be a truely great racket.
