The focus is placed on raising public awareness of the channels available for reporting natural disasters and the correct use of life-saving devices.
The NDWC is also planning to develop warning systems in the southern border region in an effort to enable the residents to handle any types of disasters more efficiently.
Under the plan, there will be an addition of 10 warning tower, 6 satellite signal receivers, 6 radio warning stations, 18 news dissemination towers and 33 warning receivers.
