– Yay! Old music! I’ve said this somewhere before, but there’s no need to play them every episode or anything. Just a little sprinkle here and there. There was no reason to have gotten rid of them altogether.
– Poor Mo. I do adore her for saying how “because you’re a girl” is a dumb reason to do something sometimes.
– This episode was such an improvement from last week. It felt a lot more like Love Sick. The extra scenes with Phun and Noh were lovely, from the car to the pool. These are the kind of scenes that should be added. They don’t exist in the novel, at least from the Noh tells his story, but they build up on the plot at hand. These are way better than some fantasy sequences (like that Brokeback thing) which were funny but didn’t add much to the story. Things should be done in moderation.
– I feel like I might have explained the “sleep with” thing in one of the chapters before but I’ll bring it up again. They were actually talking about the act of sleeping. The whole conversation sounds innocent…if you want it to be that way. At the same time, using “sleeping with”, much like in English, can also mean to have sex. That scene feels like they were about both to me. (And then Noh grins when Phun said he doesn’t wanna sleep with Aim. Real subtle.)
– I won’t be surprised if the next episode we start with an evacuation because the hotel is on fire thanks to Yuri and her damn candles.
– They added previews! These included ad break previews too, but they’re not included in the raws. I kinda like not having them better, to be honest. I don’t need that many teasers.
– There were some discussions whether Yuri is going too far with this. Personally, I think this fits her character. She’s not trying to seduce Noh in that way. I mean, yeah, we’re talking about her wanting to give it up to Noh but it still feels somewhat innocent to me. I don’t know if this has to do with how Pineare portrays the character or what but that’s how Yuri is coming across to me. I think it’s dorky and cute (and dangerous if she were to do this with someone else that isn’t Noh.)
– Next week! (Yay, I get to do this now that we have previews) Earn is freaking out! So is Aim!
– PS: Some of you guys were asking about how to reach the crew. They read everything on twitter (and even respond at times). @YDanop is the new director. @ArttyGM is the new executive producer (and also the person that owns Wealthy Enterprise, but I’m not a 100% certain). You can also tweet to the team of writers (not p’Hed) @ovesick2script. As far as I know, p’Hed is only responsible for the PhunNoh scenes, the rest are written by the team.
– PS2: The alternative title for this episode is The One With the Watermelons. (They were pushing that new green tea with watermelon thing, Mo (AKA Taengmo) means watermelon, which is why she has a watermelon welcome sign on her door.)
