The remainder of this paper is structured as follows:
Section 2 reviews the literature on the role of skills in graduates’ transition from university to work. Section 3 presents
the data and methodology of the study and Section 4 the
econometric model used to estimate employers’ preferences.
In Section 5 we present the results of the first stated choice
experiment and the results of the second stated choice experiment are presented in Section 6. We then draw conclusions
in Section 7.
