Drinking 1 or 2 good craft beers a day can be very beneficial to your health. Beer relaxes you, reduces stress and helps you sleep. Beer contains vitamin B6 which helps prevent heart disease. Beer also contains antioxidants in a form that is easily absorbed by the body (even more so than wine). Alcohol in moderation is also thought to increase the amount of good cholesterol (HDL) in the bloodstream, leading to less blood clots.
So in moderation, beer is great! (But good beer, not crap beer.)
