Giving this another shot, I've met genuinely nice people here before, hoping to do so once more.
I'm Tom. Currently a university student & barista/waiter, it pays the bills for now. A by-product of the 90's, of that generation which knows the importance of technology but craves for the old ways more often than not. I miss mix tapes. A true dilettante, I like to rush into various arts & crafts, try my hand at this, that and the other. Most stick, some don't.
Any and all foodies and farmers are more than welcome. I'm a registered WWOOF-er, though I've yet to volunteer anywhere other than Britain.
Requests
I'm in constant need of thoughtful and stimulating conversations. Long as you're insightful and have your own ideals/opinions, we can talk about everything or nothing.
Hobbies & Interests
I mostly spend my time cooking, reading and keeping in shape.
Add to those a few nights a week of hiking to one of the numerous countryside pubs out in the Peak district, eating out and/or going to the cinema/theatre.
Carpentry. Agriculture.
Collecting and bringing together images and articles about building houses, using environmentally friendly/traditional methods of construction. My idea at the moment is to build a timber framed house, with the walls made from straw bales. Google it, trust me it's feasible! I'll build one with my own hands one day.
Favorite Music
For cooking I listen to Frank Sinatra.
When driving my new favourite is 'The Guardians of the Galaxy' OST
Blue Swede - Hooked on a Feeling. Classic.
And for everything else, there's always Jazz.
Favorite Books
Currently reading:
