This paper is an attempt to answer questions about
harmonizing the different requirements against higher
education courses and industrial product development
projects in education of engineers. Increasing academic type
requirements must be coordinated with industrial practice.
Industrial product engineering technology is at companies so
that industrial assistance is inevitable for the education of
engineers.
In the paper, several new methodological elements are
introduced for the integration of industrial assistance in
course programs. Industrial instruction support was
conceptualized, characterized, and connected to course
programs. Project and problem solving related elements were
integrated in education program. Tracking based instruction
is defined and project problem advice service is
conceptualized. A special functionality is planned to map
product definition tasks to course tasks in order to make
connection between course execution and product definition
environments.
