The Integrated Circuit and Embedded System (ICES) group involves three main research areas: analog/RF and mixed-signal IC design, MEMS, and embedded systems.
For IC design, we focus on architectural innovation for sensor interface, transceiver, and biomedical system as well as enhanced performance of various circuit building blocks. Our works have resulted in first reported 450nW biomedical sensor interface, 17pJ/bit transmitter and UWB beamformer with 1-phase resolution. These also lead to the development of wearable ECG plaster, bionic neural link prototype, and wireless endoscopy.
