Since the light phase of the equilibrium mixture for the systems
under study was only slightly concentrated in the solute, the
density was considered to be that of pure CO2. The values for the
density of CO2 under the different conditions of temperature and
pressure were calculated using a computer program that employs
the empirical equation of Huang et al. [26], which reproduces the
experimental values of IUPAC [27].
