Hello, my name is Raphaël.
I am 23 years old, I am now attenting the Bar School of Montréal (for lawyers, not bartenders :P)
The first impression you might have of me is that I am extrovert: I am quite sociable and very at ease with strangers. In reality, I consider myself ambivert because I am "selectively" social. I have this inherent need to be in touch with people, but in a restricted way. In fact, I am the kind of person who feels out of place and rather lonely in most social events and who would much rather have a one-on-one time with a close friend or just spend some hours... studying languages. I devote myself to learn those in order to be able to connect with a greater number of people and to have friends all over the world. Furthermore, it considerably enhances the overall traveling experience. That is my main hobby and I really enjoy it. I'm currently speaking/studying 7 languages which are listed somewhere on my profile. My mother-tongue is French.
When I go abroad, my main objective is not to visit as many beautiful spots as possible but rather to meet people, remarkable people. The activity that I choose to do isn't an end in itself but a way for me to spend time with that person. We can do basically anything for the purpose of creating memories and sharing wonderful fun moments. It can be simply to have a conversation over a meal or a drink in a café, to go shopping, to take a walk in a park, etc. The feeling of connecting mentally intimately with someone is just unsurpassable. I strive to be an awesome friend to those who accept me as I am so they would feel truly blessed to know me.
That leads me to mention that I seek to become the best possible version of myself, and I acknowledge that I have so much to do to achieve that. Now, this paragraph will get "spiritual" for a moment: my model is Jesus as I am a proud Christian, but not the type who will rub it in your face. I just mean that I'm not ashamed of my faith and it's a very crucial part of who I am.
Aside from that, I really enjoy sports, a lot of them (soccer, hockey, tennis, badminton, swimming, etc.) even though with my tight schedule I'm unable to practice most of the them at the current time.
I've also been playing drums for nearly 10 years.
The most important to me are not your qualifications, your studies, your look, your job, your hobbies, but your values, your personality, your inner wealth. I'm looking for kind and open-minded people who are genuinely interesting in speaking with me!
For now, I'm simply trying this website. I wish to see what kind of people we can find here!
Basically, I can't wait for your message, so feel to message me, I'm always up for a chat! :)
