.I wanna be optimistic, and tbh I expected that his dancing wouldn't be up to snuff (obviously. Gene Kelly is one of the greatest dancers in film history, whereas Kyuhyun is not anywhere close to professional level), but I'm worried that I don't buy into his charisma as a performer. It's like he's got a forced smile plastered on his face instead of selling us on Don Lockwood's unbridled, spontaneous joy in this scene, and keeps breaking into these weird expressions that don't suit the moment or character. It just feels awkward. Hopefully, he'll be more confident and natural by the time the play actually debuts.
