The amino acid composition of the connective tissue, and each
of the fractions, is presented in Table 2. Most amino acids differed
between the FP and WP salmon groups (Fig. 1). As expected, given
results in Nalinanon et al. (2010), the most abundant amino acid in
all fractions was glycine (Gly), with consistently greater content in
the FP compared with the WP group.
