Some people might think that schools should teach students about general subjects instead of specific careers and jobs. However, this is neither true nor valid. Schools are the place that give students a lot of opportunities and help them choose their jobs in the future. In order to make students realize what they are interested in and to save their time, schools should teach specific careers and jobs.
Schools should teach students about specific background information about jobs so that they can notice which field they are interested in. When researchers ask to students what they want to be in the future, a great number of them can barely answer this question. In other words, most of students do not recognize which field they are good at, so school should give them many opportunities related to specific jobs. For example, my uncle, who is a famous engineer, did not know that he was going to become an engineer when he was in the middle school. However, after he went to a school camp, he found that he is fascinated to engineering, which was his great motivation. Since then, he started studying on engineering at school and it leads him to become a famous engineer. It demonstrates the importance of school where teaches on specific careers.
Students also can save their time by learning specific careers from the young age. Students are ready to learn their major only after they go to college. However, if they get a chance to learn about more background information about careers, they can become a better person at that field that they are interested in.
Schools should teach students about specific careers and jobs instead of general subjects for the following two reasons. It makes students realize what they are interested in and save their time for preparing their job in the future.
