2.9. Statistical analysis
Analysis of variance (ANOVA)was used to determine significant differences
(p b 0.05) between TNF concentrations and between the sample
state (raw and cooked). To assess differences between the levels of
the passion fruit albedo concentration factor (0%, 2.5% and 5%) or sample
state factor (raw and cooked), contrasts between means (Tukey's
test) were used. Statistical analyses were carried out using SPSS 16.0
for Windows (SPSS Inc., Chicago, USA).
