Korean researchers have been studying anger management programs for a diverse population
including children and adolescence with conduct disorder or adjustment disorder, patients with schizophrenia or AUD, and victims of family violence. For example, Kwon (2004) developed an anger management program for victims of family violence at a shelter. The program was conducted twice a week for 5 weeks and was shown to be effective for anger expression. Similarly, Huh (1998) tested an anger management program for patients with AUD, and the result showed that anger levels and self-esteem improved significantly in the experimental group.
