Besides our bacteriophage, several Salmonella bacteriophages have been found to be members of the family Siphoviridae such as bacteriophage SETP3, bacteriophage SE2 and bacteriophage SPN3UB. However, Salmonella bacteriophages are not restricted to the family Siphoviridae, many of them were classified as members in the families Myoviridae and Podoviridae such as bacteriophage SETP2 (myophage) , bacteriophage Felix O1 (myophage), bacteriophage SETP1 (podophage) , bacteriophage P22 (podophage) , and bacteriophage epsilon 34 (podophage)
