The contribution of the consecutive route is significantly higher than that of the parallel one. At temperatures higher than 400 ◦ C some traces of methane, propylene, isobutanol, carbon oxide and
carbon dioxide were observed.
In Fig. 2a–d reaction selectivities to products are given as functions of ethanol conversion at various temperatures. With an increase in ethanol conversion, the DEE selectivity drastically decreases, while the ethylene selectivity increases (Fig. 2a and b).
